A guided walking tour is an excellent way to discover the historic city center, but you can also explore it from the water. Gliding through the old canals, which are spanned by many bridges, offers you an entirely different view and experience of the city.

If you would like to see more, then maybe a bike tour may be just the thing for you. On a bicycle you can easily reach parts outside the city center.

If you have some more time, you can also choose to extend your visit for a wonderful bike tour of the surrounding area of Leiden: passing through old country estates, the dune areas, and maybe even stop by at the beach.
